Dark Souls series of action role-playing games developed by Bandai Namco entertainment. 

It is a Japanese fiction character and it is developed by Bandai Namco, the game company 

the main feature of this game is this includes the protagonist which appears in the game and kills different types of enemies and bosses and several other battles are included in this game.

 The main distinctive characteristic feature of this game is the player can choose between different types of characters such as thieves barbarians mages etc. 

The player has to choose between different types of characters and each character has their own unique skill and ability, 

Each character and their attacks are different from each other. And the gender is a character of each player is chosen by the heroes Taken,

 by the players and the main aim of this game is you have to discover between certain artefacts and different types of Magic, weapons which are included in this game.

 This game is similar to God of War in which Kratos appears and kills different types of Demons and gods. 

So in this game the characteristic feature is instead of checkpoints you receive Bonfire where the Bonfire is like checkpoints.

 and you receive different types of weapons and magic which are included in the game. 

The different types of characters have own skills that depend upon The hero chosen,

 so the player has the skills and abilities to kill different types of enemy bosses

 which come in the games and the main skills depends upon the souls which are the points and 

experience gained by the user upon killing enemies so the  amount of souls depends upon the different types of enemies 

such as if you defeat small Enemies you will receive fewer soles while if you defeat larger bosses you will receive a large number of souls.

So these souls can be redeemed  in the end game store available to purchase different types of items, artefacts, magics and different types of weapons

 As different types of characteristic features improve upon the dark souls. 

And  the characteristic feature of if the game is if  you will die in the checkpoint and you will reach the Bonfire,

If you have saved your progress in the game and you will lose permanently all the souls.

But you have a chance, you can recover the Souls by using the bloodstain in the games.

 So again, if you die in the same checkpoint, you will permanently lose all the souls received. 

So you have to be careful while defending against Enemies so you should not only attack but also defend against Enemy attacks 

and use your skills to defeat the players accordingly so that Monsters having different types of abilities they can use their skills. 

And abilities to be analysed. So overall this game is a good game to play if you have played already God of War like similar games and hack and slash games.
